Tepery Bean, Pasiolus Acutfolius - The Common Bean
The tepery bean is more drought resistant than almost any other beaner legoon. It does need to be planted in moist soil, but after that it barely needs any water at all. You can be harvesting beans out of the desert like two months after the last rainfall. They've been cultivated by indigenous people in what is now northwestern mexico and southwestern us for millennia. Colonialism the original cancel culture. That's what we have to worry about.
