How to Pitch Your Book

If a big part of the book is at its taking place on a beautiful tropical island or something like that, perhaps that's tha salling point. But if your book's taken place in new york or boston or l a, or any big city, that doesn't make your book special. Complicated pitches don't sell books. Focus, if you can, on one character and on what challenge that character faces. It's almost to craft a good pitch with three named characters.
