Twenty Thousand Hertz
Noise Is a Threat to Our Survival
In the last ten to 15 years, scientists have studied noise and looked at it in terms of the cardio vascular effects. Every month there is a new study on the health effects of noise. Studies have linked noise pollution with hearing impairment, hyper tension, elevated blood pressure, heart disease, changes in the immune system and even birth defects. Exposure to high noise levels has also been linked to increased frequency of headaches, fatigue, stomach ulcers and vertigo.
