Mike O'Shaughnessy: I got a lot of worried phone calls from some of the artists that we collect. Stability AI has an opt out from our training models for artists if they don't want to participate, he says. "I read your paper, Teaching Machines to Draw," which immediately resonated with me because of the way that you approached it" He wants people to understand and not simply dismiss their concerns about new tech.

David Ha is the Head of Strategy at Stability AI, and one of the top minds working in AI today. He previously worked as a research scientist in the Brain team at Google. David is particularly interested in evolution and complex systems, and his research explores how intelligence may emerge from limited resource constraints.
