The New Release Is Bigger Core 24 Dot Zero Dot One
The master branch is the main thing that Bitcoin Core developers work on. The bug was introduced in this refactor and then after that, bug was introduced, the split to the release was made. And then somewhat later on, master, the bug was accidentally fixed. Not deliberately fixed. But if you do trip on it, it's very painful. So it was definitely worth fixing. There's two other bugs in there too, but they're less important than in very different areas.
