The Cobalistic View of the Law of Moses as Divine A

An outsider's view of the law of moses might look at it from an outsideer perspective. It looks like various laws are based on conventions that, you know, the israelites would have had before. And so there's a rational basis for it, even though it's not intrinsically required. The restriction of the jewish priesthood to one family line may also be seen as historically conditioned. But if that doesn't intrinsically have to be that way, then maybe other things, like the pork taboo, can play a role and receive a divine blessing in their own right.
