Don Stankamp's Bail Hearing
The judge was presented with a number of revelations from the forensic team. Don's hands had tested negative for gunshot residue, which is easily washed off with soap and water. But forensics found that his shirt, the one he had taken off at the police station, had tested positive for gunshot residue. The pathologist also added that older healed scars on Marfella showed that this sexual assault had likely not been the first one that she had endured. This discovery was that 14 year old Marfella had likely been raped within a 12 hour period of her death.
