Scott's Early Life

Jindian: My primary source for his childhood is the 20 years of Dilbert Comet Collection, which he published in like 2002. His father was a postal worker and his mother was a stay at home mom. He describes being fascinated by them because they had what he calls "the X factor" Jindian: In 1963, when Scott six years old, his family was in the habit of taking him on trips to his uncle's farm up the road from their house. This uncle had a collection of peanuts, comic strip books and Scott would sit down and stare at them even before he could read.
