There are, without doubt, more guns in this country than any other. But does america really stand alone? So i am truly grateful to you for asking that question and encouraging me and and our listeners to think about things in a comparative term. Because there is some way in which an easy course of us exceptionalism, obscures some striking commonalities, right? And once you can view the situation that we have in the present as a comp x output of like, cumulative developments stacked over time and competing with one another, or producing certain types of sincrenicity, you get a lot more clarity.
