Theme Within a Story
When you've got a story within a story, you're able to illumin your theme more directly. One of the one of my favourite examples of this is te ve ending story. As we go between the embedded story within the book, we are alson tecom out to the hero's man in real life,. And then back in the the lessons that he's learning in both places affect the way he moves through the world. It's really, really lovely.
