Alistom McGrath: We need to make it absolutely clear from the word go. This is not simply a religious problem. The epistemic tragedy of humanity is that we simply don't have certainty about any core beliefs, whether they are ethical or political or religious. And we have to in effect learn to live with a degree of uncertainty. Jennifer Michael Heck: How's there a different approach to doubt outside those religions? I'm thinking of Eastern traditions where doubt is central to the religion.
