The Importance of Resigning
I'm not a massive fan of counter-offers in general. I would encourage you as the employer to be having that conversation earlier than at the time you resign. You've either found another job or you've come to peace with the fact that you're leaving. And, you know, that for me is final. If you're in a position where the employer can then talk you out of that, I guess I just wonder how long, like what's the timeframe until that expires?
