Harrison ford was originally offered a samnel's gig, and he turned it down because he felt he was not the right person for this job. Any any other caincitins of william hert were also offered that roll. It was written to be indiana jones in a lot of ways. I don't think it would have worked as well. William hurt is just a little bit more internalized than intellectual. And i'm not totally sure, like, one of the cool things about the movies watching the samuel character kind of evolve. He develops as like a caretaker. Just enough, just enough with some stuff.
