The Braves' Decision to Sign Dansby Swanson

Dansby Swanson was drafted by the Diamondbacks, but spent his whole big league career and almost all of his professional career in the Braves organization. Was he more resistant to the idea than others were? Or were the Braves less aggressive about getting him signed than they were with other guys? I kind of wonder that sometimes because as you look at Dansby Swanson's growth as a big league player and even in his career year of 2022, he always seems to have those highs and lows. It's a bit of a roller coaster with him at times, at least offensively speaking.
