Funez was a young man who lost his legs in an accident. He claims to be able to tell the time without looking at anything, which is called 'weird gift' Funez never stirred from his cot and would look out of the window when it came dusk. His cousin bernardo tells how funez told him that he had been gifted with this strange ability.
