This is a new research from the University of Amsterdam that led to a new AI system. That can generate simple and controllable music. And it's called Gansynth. So a generative adversarial network, basically like one part of the network generates a new kind of output,. The other part of thenetwork tries to figure out whether it is a legitimate song or not. But over time, those two networks kind of bounce off each other until they land in a very optimized zone where the generator can do a really good job of producing quality music.
