GitHub co-founder and CTO of GitHub, Michaela Kucharsky, answers questions about the rise in mob programming. She says some teams find it helpful to pair up new team members with someone who's been around for a while so they can learn from each other. And she adds that there is no easy way on GitHub today to see if people are pairing or mopping at the same time. The company has started tracking this data as part of its engineering metrics.
