The Importance of Smileys
Sarcasm and the way you could use words in a clever way to form, to form meaning, sarcasm and so on, they were lost by the increasing use of smileys. People started to expect a smiley to signal that it was sarcasm. And people are ignoring the language and becoming worse at writing.
