How Do You Rate Your Chess Development?

Andres: My dream is to become international master. I also understand how difficult that is and that the chances are going to be really top at my age. But I think there's a chance. So I want to study as if that can happen or as if that will happen. And then I like to go by increment, so my blog says, wrote to 1900. That said 1700 just a few months ago. It strikes me as funny that your goals are sort of odd number hundreds, like 1700 and 1900. Most American players gravitate towards the even ones because in continental chess tournaments they have more commonly like under 1600 and under 1800 sections and under 2000.
