The Professor and the Madman is a new podcast from BBC Radio 4. This week, we look back at an 1872 murder in London's Lambeth neighborhood. The man who had been shot was identified as George Merritt; he'd never met Miner before. We'll also hear how two constables tried to save his life but it was too late.
