The Importance of Institutional Memory in Financial History
In your paper, you know this trend, this increasing finance. And it continues even into the Vietnam War. They raise a lot of tax revenue to help pay for the Vietnam War and less on bonds. So it speaks to this institutional memory that people had. And they try to veer a course. This makes me wonder if there's going to be any lessons or memories from the current situation we're in moving forward.
