The argument against trans rights is not these people are an abomination, it's all like they are defying nature. And you see this also a lot in opposition to birth control and abortion. Like children become an intense focus of the natural law argument against gay marriage. Nature is like God and that you really can't argue with it. It's much bigger than you and you can't defy it.
