The Deception of Traditional Islam

Many times on British television we have the leaders of our Muslim societies and they regularly quote the surahs or the verses of peace which are there in the Quran. But alongside this verse is now come to this in a moment our verses of the sword and they conveniently do not refer to those although according to the traditional teachings it does. Traditional Islam is not inherently a religion of peace. It defines peace in terms of submission to Islam. And so the traditional Islamic teaching will underpin the theology of al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups - that is being true to traditional Islamic teaching.
