Kenyon: I grew up in rural Northern California, have no Jewish ancestry that I'm aware of. In college as an undergraduate at a small liberal arts college in Vermont was drawn into the orbit of the so-called anti-globalization movement. He says he quickly realized there were some huge gaping holes in what was available in the historical record. "I felt like it was necessary to do anything else I was interested in was to first have some of those foundations"
