The Sonnets Didn't Provide a Boost to Shakespeare's Career

The sonnets were not printed again until 16 forty, until more than 30 years later. The dedication to the book reads: "All happiness and that eternity promised by our ever living poet wisheth the well wishing adventurer in setting forth t t and t t" So this is a further reason why i would argue that shakespeare, although he wanted them to be printed and read, he did not want it to happen during his own life.
