Are We Picking Sides?

There's something about the fact that we not only want to be right, but we want to be legitimized in that right by being part of a group. And so picking a side obviously leads us into either or thinking. So i'm on one side, you're on another side, and somebody says, x is this, supporting me on my side or not supporting me on our side. That completely undermines the whole end part of your discussion. Is this just ego? Or is there something going on in society right now that leaders can be more mindful of?"
