A man loses his memory because the amnesia vaccine was not given. His wife is still feeding him peppermint patty's o and fantasizing about her ex-husband, louis. She even keeps the keys and the light bulbs in the same drawer. People sometimes try to preserve the past because they feel there's so much value. So it's an extreme attachment to the pass and it's being exposed with the lack of the amnesia shop.
