A Brief History of Proclus

Most scholars have valued Proclus more for what he tells us about the past. He has been valued as a treasure trove of data about other thinkers, but not treasured much himself. Even those who do take an interest in Proclus's own philosophy must admit that his ideas seemed to be drawn largely from his immediate predecessors.
