The Three Pitch Climb

CNN's John Berman says he is "utterly intrigued and enthralled" by the story. He explains that what happened on Mount Kilimanjaro saved his life, but it was how they got there too. The pair were stranded for hours trying to free a rope which had become frozen in the night. They eventually managed to unclimb one of the crevasses using ropes tied with persic hitches.
