Do the Sequels Hold Up?
The second book is pretty good, but by the third one, it's really epic. I could compare it to the Hunger Games type books, but less teeny-bop-y and a lot more fun. The guy wrote a book with Newt Gingrich or some shit, so to your point earlier about being all like Patriot Super Republican. It's kind of got that angle, but it doesn't go into that too much in the books.
