The Earth system is so complex. There's so many moving parts, many of which we still don't understand. And the short and long-term consequences of all these rapid changes are beyond our scientific compass at this point. We have an increasingly nuanced understanding of climate. Many climate models have been tested and calibrated against each other. But no, we don't know everything.
