The real scandal is not that a bunch of people committed what you could argue is another lynching but that they didn't let the proper authorities legitimately kill the guy. If those proper authorities had killed that guy you better believe we'd be having a conversation about how well we need to reinvest in policing despite the bad apples and despite the fact that it keeps doing the same thing over and over again.
