Maroon 5 has never had a significant number of people coming out to see them at shows or reviewing their recorded music. Nearly all musical artists who you have heard of provided they don't have some sort of mental health issue could not give less of a fuck about praise or criticism one way or the other. There's a very simple reason for this, which is that if you make music for a long enough time and present that music to the public in concert or on recordings, then you're going to hear the entire spectrum of possible responses to that music. You can only experience this for so long before it all becomes meaningless Unless you're delusional then you know you're not the best guitar player in
