Is There a Level of Organization in the Natural World?
The question is whether or not that scientific account exhausts all that can be meaningfully said about this. That's a scientism thing, and peter seems to think it does. I don't see those as mutually exclusive. We recognize that at that level of organization, you can talk about things in a in a way that makes sense. Now, i think you'll take it to another level when you're talking about elements of consciousness and morality and values,. You'll think you're talkn about things which ultimately is based on the physical basis.
