A Brief History of Mixed Ages

Our schools show that children of different ages help one another. The younger ones see what the older ones are doing and ask for explanations. There is between them a natural mental osmosis. All the older ones become heroes and teachers, and the Chinese are their admirers. These look to the former for inspiration then go on with their own work. He or she joins the happy group of men who have taken the road of life as surely as the scientists they penetrate life secrets and win its rewards,. not only for themselves, but for all.
