Douglas Ford Loves Birch and Fir
The wood wide web is a network of plants and animals that communicate with each other. In the woods, douglas ford loves being around birch because it doesn't get infected. And so, in a sense, they're selecting to be together, like a group selection. That was the first time it had been shown actually in nature, a in real nature, just in the journal nature.
