Facebook Needs to Evolve Beyond Just Content From Your Social Network
The idea that this is sort of a hedge against less content there and eventually you're surfacing more compelling content, that's where I'm not sure I can get there. And it also helped me avoid ever having to sign up for Snapchat when Instagram added stories. So that's what Instagram did. They didn't kill Snapchat. They just cut off their growth. Like Snapchat was just going up up and completely flatlined. You already have your network somewhere else. Why would you want that?
