How to Ferret a Close Relationship With a Seller
Make sure the seller has their cell phone on them when you do a site visit. Ask for a ride along with the seller to go visit some of the vendors or the customers in person. Tell them that the seller can call you something else, a consultant, an apprentice who doesn't matter. It will give you just a little bit more hesitation when you go to answer the question, how important is the seller to that business?
