What the Good Is Not a Given
The good is not a given, it's a destiny that needs to be worked out in the course of human events. We're never going to get it. It's one of these asymptotic pursuits that arrives not from within humanity, but from without and on this journey. That kind of patience with one another becomes part of that spontaneous social fabric that subsidiarity presupposes.
