It had taken Ashley and i nearly five years to get jack into oakhill's elementary. We knew at the start that we could only afford to have one child, especially with the price of elementary schools sky rocketing like they had been in the years before jack was born. When it came to the animals, there was absolutely no choice at all. Even in a small caraset like mine, the choices seemed overwhelming. Until you find your mount as soon as i saw the curve of its gray neck and the curl of its fur, it was almost as if none of the carasels shortcomings had mattered any more.
