What Is the Month Over Month?
The CPI is based off raw data, raw data. And then the year over year is just they compare last November to this November with that exact measurement. So it's there. You don't have to worry about a rate of change. But targeting that as a year over year rate is a little bit asinine. Look at how much has changed in 2021. The first three months of that year could have had 10% inflation and the last nine months could have had negative five percent inflation each month. It doesn't make any sense. They should target month over month. There also needs to be a way to eliminate the supply and demand changes.
