This weekend marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of Prohibition. The 18th Amendment was ratified on January 16, 1919 and declared there will be no more liquor in the U.S., at least not legally. All manner of people started looking for ways to get around it; we had what, the birth of the speakeasies? That's right.
