The university was always cast within a notion that pursuing God was in some sense the point of the university and so theology became a framework for departmentalization and specialization. But without that, I think it's difficult to answer the question now, what is the university for? Kuiper: Because of common grace, because of Bob Nink, I think we would say that the university is of course for the pursuit of the common good"
