The Foundation of C++
I know very little about data science or AI machine learning. But TensorFlow, which is the basis of essentially all of that, is a C++ program. They are down close to the hardware building abstractions that are useful for your nets and such. That I'm interested in. It was not something I wanted to change. And the tool for building what I wanted didn't exist. So I had to build it. This low level, plus high level stuff is a fundamental idea. It's good at hardware, good at zero head abstraction. When you have more complex systems, you need more abstraction. Some of the most efficient stuff comes by having the right abstractions represented in code
