I think the whole idea behind it was like you don't try and estimate out a six month or year long project when like so many variables change in those six months. I'm definitely a big fan of iterating and learning because like you're right. It can cause some negative culture if you're orienting around a date. But I think it really depends on how you're approaching those dates.
