Recovering From Umbilical Hernia

Neil from the UK recently had open umbilical hernia surgery. He was hoping for any advice on how you would structure your training to ease back in and any advice on exercises to help strengthen and protect that area. Robin Nikki: I think starting off with static hold type activities first like the hollow rock position or just a hollow position, lots of counter movement. All of these will engage your trunk musculature but in a way that is stabilizing the midline which I think is going to be really, really important.
