China's Challenges With Coal

China's coal inventory fell 26 % in the first six months of 20 21 due to not enough supply from miners as well as import. China has banned exports of coal and that has led to shortages of urea, which is produced from coal. Urea is used in india for fertilizer and in south korea to reduce desel omissions in dese trucks and factories. Meanwhile, because natural gas prices have more than doubled, power generators around the world are switching to coal,. further pushing up the price.
