The Terror of God in the Exodus
Sam's making connections with things that will come later with the Exodus. It seems to me that we're getting a book end around this grand central section of the book from chapters 12 to 35. Jim, there are just a lot of interesting things here. The renaming of Bethel to El Bethel, Jacob having his name changed again,. A restatement about him being Israel and not Jacob. What do you make of these things?
