Why Jehovah's Witnesses Leave

I think people stay and leave sometimes for different reasons. I started to ask questions like, do I really believe that God is going to destroy eight billion people and only leave Jehovah's Witnesses to live forever on earth, never dying? That didn't make any sense or that start. Another reason why people leave though they fall out with somebody or they notice that people's behavior is not reflecting what they claim. And the other reason is of course cognitive dissonance. We stay with something because although we doubt it being true, we're trying to hold two things in our brain at the same time. It seems really unlikely but we really want to believe it.
