CS Lewis is so brilliant he's presenting how the unmanned is doing exactly the opposite of what CS Lewis is trying to do in this book. The enemy creates a dark end to atmosphere for the woman to try to poison her imagination and that poisons the way she sees all reality. If you have a poisoned worldview from the get go, then you are drawn towards those patterns even within music that are in the human like they are things that separate us farther and farther from what is good and from what is right. It was very well done. That's exactly what I hear the young feminist talking about these days. The back description they give of men and women are doing all the emotional labor women are doing
